Overall it was a good time! The pay is not horrible was able to get up to 550 a week, but you definitely work for it with the 8 shows a week. The rehearsal space is not great, but gets the job done and the team at ABT are very dedicated to producing quality theater. Our show honestly looked better than the Broadway version of this show. We also had the costumes from the North American tour. The housing was nice, updated apartments with laundry in unit, amazing pools and near the theater. HOWEVER the first week or 2 you say in a sponsors house and the people you stay with can be a lot! I stayed in a house where in my closet were several guns just laying around.

Pay is too low. Otherwise it’s a good jobs but pay is 90% of my satisfaction.

I loved working at ABT. The cast and crew I worked with were amazing and the quality of the show was great. Communication from the company management to the cast/stage manager is iffy at best, but it wouldn’t deter me from going back and working there again. Housing was super nice, clean, and in a really nice area.

This wasn't one of my favorite contracts. The management is nice and the shows are good. The pay is low and they really work you hard while you are there. It didn't feel like we ever really had a lot of time off. The location is good, although I wouldn't want to work there during the really hot seasons. Housing is fine but some people do share rooms. Show quality is pretty high. Audiences are kind of small.

I was a principal (lead) performer in two of their musicals (2019-20) right before the pandemic. I enjoyed my experiences there very much. The pay was slightly lower than I would've liked, but working there during winter months Jan - March (the housing complex has two pools!) was very nice.

Working at ABT was an overall great experience. The creative/production team treated us very well, the crew was beyond phenomenal, and the production value was very strong. The day to day was run very smoothly, the people there know how to put up their show. Overall I felt respected and comfortable while there. Housing was nice and pay was standard, and Peoria is a cool place to live for a bit. Only real complaint is the rehearsal space is just a room with mirrors and carpeted concrete - not the most fun to dance on so would just say be conscious of your body. Overall, ABT is a good place to work with solid people and productions.
