Cape May is great but expensive. No car provided. The housing is fine but they oversell it: it's older but serviceable. The rehearsal space when I was there was an OSHA violation come to life. No ventilation (in the summer!), sawdust everywhere, and cement floors. Wear closed toed shoes, you're basically rehearsing in the scene shop. Non-eq pay is fine, not the most insulting but nothing to write home about. The town has really conservative people if that's a consideration for you. Older audiences who can sometimes be quirky and make weird comments but altogether very nice. Feels like all their shows have mostly younger men vs. younger women so might be for the best.
