I had a LOVELY time at OCTC! It doesn't get much better than making art with dedicated, like-minded artists. My experience was a bit unique because while many work there during the busy summer season, I was there during the off season. The rehearsal space is large and roomy, their piano is great, and their housing is sanitary and comfortable. That being said, I do wish that OCTC paid a little bit more considering the workload, but when most of their income arrives over the summer, I get it. I think it's incredibly professional and helps season artists- I recommend it to anyone who is building their resume or wants a fun summer job, I only suggest having another means of income so you don't spend it all on the groceries there. (Not OCTC's fault that beach groceries aren't cheap!) I'd absolutely work there again.

amazing amazing people to work for, and they hire equally amazing people as well. Pay is stipend based, but good for total time spent there. Beautiful housing and great town. (edited)
