Look, LORTs are too big for their britches and don’t know how to be equitable, ethical companies. The Rep is no exception. The Rep pretends to know how to be “ethical” and “sustainable” and “inclusive” (so their RepForward plan states) but is, in fact, as old school and hierarchical as they come. The turnover rate is absolutely abysmal, the higher ups don’t respect any new ideas, and they allow department heads who have been there for years to continue to demean and disrespect those who work under them. Oh, and the wages are trash. What a surprise. Might be a great gig for actors but for those who have to work in the 37 year old office spaces with no windows for people who don’t respect, hear, or care for them? Not ideal.
