In a world where the managers of theatres are often lacking, this place is a gem. Incredibly kind humans, incredibly understanding and gentle vibe. Class act leadership, in my opinion.

Great little Equity theatre just north of NYC. The leaders are very kind and often rehire actors for future shows. From what I've seen, casts are usually comprised of about 50% local CT actors and 50% NYC actors. Some production elements could occasionally use some TLC (i.e. costumes, wigs, sound system, lighting) but they recently acquired a bunch of new space and are doing a massive capital campaign to expand and upgrade, which is exciting/promising!

Amazing. Difficult if you’re commuting from NYC BUT only performs 4 times a week so really you can make it work.

Great place to work! The MTC team is warm and welcoming, and rehearsals are fast and furious, so it's best to be as off-book as you can be. For performers coming from NYC, there is a Metro-North stop nearby and then a member of the production team picks you up to drive the rest of the way. It's a great chance to do good work clos(ish) to the city, get some health weeks, and sleep in your own bed at night!
