Toxic doesn't begin to describe this place. I've never seen a theater so vocally committed to anti-racism while being so unwelcoming and antagonistic towards BIPOC performers. The head of the creative team was sugar-sweet until crossed, then went out of her way to demean and mock anyone she felt was "against her," sometimes behind their backs to their castmates and sometimes openly to their faces. She barged into private AEA cast meetings, threatened to cut pay, and at one point even attempted to coerce AEA members into rehearsing without Equity's knowledge. Problematic and deeply unprofessional.
