Worked at this theatre several times and had good experiences! Staff is kind and on top of things, housing is nice and walkable to theatre. I know there's been lots of drama in the past (tbh nothing that hasn't happened at MANY non union theaters around the country) but it's under new management now.

Worked at this theater a few times and would go back! Contracts run about a month, so rehearsals are fast and efficient. The stage management team is ON IT, which I so appreciated. You get a great housing set up! 3bd/2.5 bath, usually two to a room- but sometimes you get your own depending on the cast size. Plus, the cast house is walking distance to the theater and the downtown area of Clarksville. The town itself is cute too! Lots of markets, events, and thrift shops to explore. It's also less than an hour from Nashville, which allows a lot of fun day trips! My only issues came from other actors hired- aggressive, petty, or messy behavior wouldn't be directly addressed by management, which allowed space for said behavior to continue. I would have loved a standard of work to be enforced, but I also understand the need to keep the peace as these contracts are so, so short already. Overall, I've had a good experience at the Roxy. Would recommend.

I worked there several times under different managements. Overall, I liked it. I think the housing situation has changed quite a bit. Not sure if for better or worse. The location isn't bad. They've had a lot of drama over the years but most of it, to me, seems to have been way overblown.

Decent experience! I came in right in the midst of the artistic director resigning after a myriad of accusations were levied against him. While he was understandably rather cold my entire process, it was honestly inspiring to see positive change happening in a theatre - the reason the change happened is because actors spoke up.
