Owner rips off copy-written material (The Jungle Book, Little Mermaid, etc.) but changes the character names and script just enough to avoid a lawsuit. Songs in the show are written to the accompaniment of existing songs with a new melody and lyrics over the top. Owner will post backstage auditions less than a WEEK before the rehearsals start in order to try to catch available actors. Owner also will deliberately change sound cues / ad lib from the sound booth over mic DURING PERFORMANCES in order to throw actors off for his entertainment. Also :) no run crew. You will be building the set at 8am for a 10am show. Then you will take that set down and immediately drive to the next theatre. Owner often does not have the lodging booked beforehand, so you may be driving around aimlessly looking for somewhere to sleep for the evening. Wash Rinse Repeat. (edited)
