After a fellow cast member complained about an unsafe fight call they were fired. The General Manager then sent a very long email blaming us for the “catastrophic scene” that was caused. Pay is bad. Audiences small. The quality of the writhing on the parodies at its best abysmal, at its worst sexist homophobic drivel. The management is atrocious, vindictive and mean. Once the general manager told me that performers who were “too gay” were passed over out of hand for lead roles. If you attempted to create a parody of a bad place to work (ironically something the producers have been incapable of on-stage) you would still make a better workplace than this one. It is a shame there is no zero star setting.

Very bad trap that I fell in, still recovering. All around- DO NOT WORK HERE. Meets the eye, it looks like a great gig; Off- Broadway, 400 a week, the theatre isn't the only thing 'off' about this place. The general Manager, is complete vile, and the sole reason there is a huge turn over rate. All of the creative members from each show has left each project, because if her. The contracts have twist and turns allowing her loopholes to do whatever she wants. When she cancels a show (which is often), you are not getting paid, even if you are there. You will be expected to be the set crew aswell aa your acting duties. If you are ok with being told you aren't good enough, and taking other forms of abusive, do it, but don't skip an audition (edited)
