I agree with what others have said. This company does not want to deal with any problems. They also do not take safety seriously. They hired a terrible director who they supported no matter what. They only have two full time staff so they aren't prepared to handle Equity rules. The rehearsal space is a 15-20 minute drive from housing. They move the company to different housing during the contract as well. I wouldn't work there again.

Absolutely horrible place to work. I cannot express enough how much you should not work here, they treat people as if they are props that can walk and not as actual people. Claims they are “learning” as a newer company but if problems that can be fixed are brought up repeatedly and are ignored it is simply negligence and not because you are “learning”. Company allowed a director to misgender several actors and did basically nothing, along with other disrespectful and dehumanizing things. The ASM on the show did the job of several departments and was run into the ground, and when this came up multiple times through out the length of the process they were told “other theatre companies run this way” and that they should have “expected it to be a hard and thankless job”. Never followed any of the equity rules for the equity members that were in the cast/crew and ignored basic safety for everyone, especially the actors. Also attempted to use songs in the show they did not have the rights to, which it became unclear to everyone if they ever did get the rights. All around a terrible experience, hopefully they change for the better in the future. (edited)
